life in Hong Kong is all about $$$ "where money flows like water ..." while there's something zen like, buddhist or taoist if you like, about that saying all i know is that it sucks to all holy high hell. where has my money been going you ask?? let us walk down money memory lane ... keep in mind these are just a few highlights, not counting many smaller events and occurances. Firstly we have friend's birthday dinner
Then we have String Quartet Concert and Dinner ...
Next we have Carnival night in Lan Kwai Fong (that's the main lounge, club, pub, restaurant area in Hong Kong for those of you that don't know). Note the hordes and packed masses in the streets. It got even worse on Halloween, but we shall come to that later ...
*Note to self: never accept drinks from strangers, end result seen below - dazed, red faced, bleary eyed look.
Toss in the random, nightly dinner outings ... FINALLY found a decent sandwich place!!
... and finally we conclude with "All Hallow's Eve" (Halloween) a spooky All Hallow's Eve dinner ~ spooky in that there's seems to be an empty seat when there should be someone sitting there
we had 25 year old "Fa Diu" wine ... that's a type of chinese rice/fower wine (served warm), where you drop a dried/preserved plum "wa mui", in it before you drink it. might i add it was really good ...
here we have ... uhh ... well look for yourself, not sure how to caption this one
arr!! avast ye land lubbers & shiver me timbers!!!
and to conclude, albiet a bit blurrily ~ i joined the church for the night and became a priest, to uhh ... teach all the naughty girl devils, nuns, sailors, nurses, ghosts ... sorry where was i? oh yes, "the error of their ways". blasphemous i tell u.
